S'mores Cupcakes

Yes, these s'mores cupcakes taste as good as they look. An ingenious idea which I could never have come up with myself, but jumped at the thought of trying them out. With a decadent chocolate cupcake base, topped with buttery graham cracker crumbs and piped on the top with a sweet meringue which is lightly toasted in the oven..... there is no word other than.... perfection. They were as fun to make as they were to eat!

Blueberry Lemon Cupcakes

Here are some cupcakes I made a couple days ago. I attempted to make some blueberry frosting. Though the frosting had good flavor, it did not taste very much like blueberry, despite the beautiful purple color which the rendered down fresh blueberry syrup gave it. However, the lemon cupcakes, which I have made a couple times before are to die for. Full of lemon zest, and folded in with sour cream, they are lemony and have great texture.
